feedback requested!!

i need feedback, and for something really cool.

i'm building keystone, a custom mechanical keyboard with cherry mx switches, an rp2040, rgb leds, and maybe an oled.

the idea

i wanted something i actually designed from scratch, not another prebuilt board. keystone is a 10x10 matrix of keys, laid out as a standard 75% keyboard, function row, arrow cluster, and 3 custom keys on top of the normal setup.

where it's at

so far i've finished a draft schematic and i'm partway through the pcb design. i was originally planning a tray mount, but the more i read about mounting styles the more i think a top mount is the better call. good thing i haven't started cadding the case yet, or i'd be flip flopping constantly.

the program

this is all part of hack club, a nonprofit community of teenagers who make cool stuff and learn by building real projects together. specifically i'm building keystone through unfold, a 6 week hack club program where you pick an idea and ship a version of it every week, all the way to a final launch.

help me out

if you've got thoughts on the layout, the mount choice, or anything else, i'd love to hear it.
