Novel CSAM classifier refers to CSAM identified via machine-learning classification rather than hash comparison, capturing previously unconfirmed or unhashed material. Other CSAE (Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation) reports refers to reports for grooming, enticement, trafficking, or imminent risk to a minor.

Anthropic is committed to combating child exploitation through prevention, detection and reporting. On our first-party services, we employ hash-matching technology and detection classifiers to detect and report CSAM that users may upload.
